World AIDS Day & GAL-Radio Show

This past Monday December 1st marked World AIDS Day, and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto held a Give an Hour for AIDS event in MED SCI Stone Lobby. We were honoured to provide uplifting music and present alongside speakers discussing the firsthand plight of HIV/AIDS. A red ribbon campaign was conducted by CANFAR, a research and advocacy organization. THINK ABOUT THE CHALLENGE. BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.

This event is FREE and takes place from 10pm to 2am. We will play a new song with Moonstarr and Sarah called "F*#^ed Up Love". This track is fresh and one of our favourites, we can't wait for ears to hear it. We'll also perform "Untitled" immediately after, we're just excited to be part of this big event.

“Wicked” – making the video

The “Wicked” music video was filmed at downtown Toronto...the day’s weather was perfect, and shooting went so smoothly. We’d like to thank everyone involved: Paul Griffin (Your Hero Films), Chris Abell (Abell Productions), Joanne, Deidre, Peter, Josh, Angie, Marcus, Chris, Alex and Beat Midas (Jose, Andrew and Jen too). Sunday afternoon's call for creativity. Stutter/Miguel/Astonish got back to work in which a couple skeleton tracks were recorded (including rough vocals...ipod ready?). So we decided to start this blog to kind of act like an ongoing timeline of fineprint's doings and such for 2008. Our blog will most likely consist about us in the process of recording our second album, fineprint affiliated parties/event's as well as us simply living in the "416". Considering just how amazing 2007 went (album release in Toronto and Japan, as well as Milkdipper/Fineprint JAPAN tour) we could not be more excited about this year. Let's start.
